Dr. Kent Haggard is a board certified urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has been practicing general urology since 1995. He received his medical degree at the University of Indiana in Indianapolis, Indiana and completed his urology training at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He then served in the United States Air Force for 3 years and 4 months at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he was chief of urology and received a Medal of Commendation for his meritorious service.
Dr. Haggard has been practicing in the Northland since 2001. He has served as chief of surgery and president of the medical staff at Liberty Hospital. He also has served as chief of surgery at North Kansas City Hospital and as a member of the medical executive committee. He is an active member of the Christian Medical & Dental Association and The American Urological Association.
Dr. Haggard has specialized training in laparoscopy, robotic surgery, microscopic surgery, laser treatments for the prostate and kidney stones, “no scalpel” vasectomy, and female incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. His special interests include urologic oncology, prostate disease, female incontinence, cystocele repair, stone disease, and microscopic vasectomy reversals. He has a passion for people and for the practice of urology.
