I have been in Kansas for 22 years and consider Lawrence, Kansas as my America hometown. I completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Kansas School of Nursing. I finished my Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Doctor of Nursing Practice program in 2019. I was in a fellowship program in a primary care setting and transitioned to urology Nurse Practitioner’s role during my time at Western Kansas. I appreciated the experience serving rural communities and learning much more about our Sunflower state. It gives me a different perspective to recognize that some patients would travel a great distance like a couple hundreds of miles or further just to see a specialist. I am thankful for our farmers and hardworking people out there.
I am a Jayhawk and also a member of the American Urological Association.
I am a certified Nurse Practitioner in both Kansas and Missouri. I also obtained Medication for Addictions Treatment Training during my fellowship program. Prior to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, I was an inpatient nurse for 12 years. My nursing experience included Telemetry/Stepdown ICU, float pool and pre-operative/PACU.
My job responsibilities are both inpatient and outpatient settings. I hope to continue providing the best care and service to all my patients
